The Zabel’s family session in Old San Juan was full of smiles and hugs! The Zabel’s are from Chicago and we’re visiting PR for their cousins destination wedding. Their kiddos were actually in the wedding and looked soooo cute walking down the aisle. Nicole and I have been emailing back and forth since September planning their family session and keeping up with each other on Instagram. It was so nice to finally meet in person! Even though we’ve never met it felt as though we already knew each other on the session because email and social media.

On Instagram I was able to see the kiddos and see what the things they liked and were interested in. Nicole had shared their school pictures and I was sooo excited to get them in front of my camera because their school pictures were GOLD! They all had the cutest picture perfect smile. I told Nicole, “They’re already pros in front of the camera!”

When I finally got to meet Zepp, Van and Noli on the session I could tell the heat in Puerto Rico was getting to them. I thought, “Oh no!” for a second. Just wait till you scroll down and see their pictures! They were such troopers in the heat and brought their cute smiles. Zepp, the oldest, was such a good big brother. He reminded me of myself, who’s also the oldest, when I was his age. He was right there taking the lead in helping his brother and sister understand what I was asking of them. I thought it was just the cutest thing! It was also super cute to see the three of them interact. I was able to snap a shot while they weren’t looking that made my heart melt. Shout out to Grandma Blanca and Uncle Steven for coming along and helping with the kids! Pro tip for anyone wanting to schedule a family session with littles, it’s always nice to bring another family member along to help. These three were not a handful by any means, but thanks to grandma and uncle I was able to get lots of shots of Nicole and Aaron alone, and didn’t have to constantly look back to make sure they were okay.
