You guys, these are our friends Quinn and Yuri! When Yuri reached out about their couple session in Old San Juan, I was beyond excited. They are such a joyful couple. I’ve never told Yuri this before, but I’ve always described her as, “such a babe!” 😂 She is so sweet, has a gift for giving thoughtful comments, and I mean look at her gorgeous smile and glowing skin! Then you have Quinn, who’s the cool kid that’s always making everyone in the room laugh and feel comfortable. Putting these two together is the definition of a “good time.”

Quinn and Yuri have been married for 26 years! 🎉 For the last three years they’ve lived here in Puerto Rico and are now moving to South Carolina. This move is what encouraged them to book their session. They wanted pictures of them here in PR for their new place. What better place to say “We Were Here” than in Old San Juan?! 

Photographing in Old San Juan always has its challenges. If it’s not the people walking by or the cars driving by, then it’s the heat or the wind that you gotta work with! On the Gulley’s session it was the wind. I am so happy that Yuri came prepared! She brought bobby pins and a hair tie. The bobby pins were perfect and all we needed to keep our hair in place. 🎉 It was simple, easy and the best part is that you can’t even tell in the photos! So to all my future clients out there, if you plan on having your session at Old San Juan or the beach, bring backup just in case.

Quinn and Yuri, the news about your move was definitely bittersweet for all your friends here on the island. You will be dearly missed but we’re excited for your new adventure!…and already can’t wait to visit you guys. 😉 I’m excited for everyone else reading along to scroll through their images.
