Grad Session in Old San Juan

Portraits

Elizabeth’s Grad Session in Old San Juan was so much fun! I first want to say: yes, I photograph grad sessions and yes, I love photographing grads! We started Elizabeth’s session in the streets of Old San Juan and ended at El Morro. You’ll see everything from the bright golden sun to the soft sunset in her gallery. I’m excited to share why this session was special to me and for you to see my favorites from her session.

I started photography by photographing graduates.

This is why Elizabeth’s session is special to me. I first became interested in portrait photography when I joined yearbook class in middle school. Once I graduated high school the first purchase I made with the money gifted to me at my graduation party was a Canon Rebel T3i bundle from Costco. Then I basically started just photographing my friends for fun. Guess who my friends were…other grads. Yup, photographing seniors was where my love for photography began and the reason why I’m a photographer.

My first grad session in Puerto Rico.

Elizabeth’s grad session was my first one since moving to Puerto Rico. I can’t believe it’s been more than three years since photographing a grad session. I’ve noticed that Senior Sessions aren’t a “thing” here and I hope that changes. Graduating is a milestone that needs to be documented. Whether you’re graduating from high school or college. Both mark the beginning of adulthood and a new chapter of life. It’s exciting, it should be documented, and I would be honored to photograph this milestone.

Elizabeth

Elizabeth graduated from Polytechnic University of Puerto Rico 🎉 This is Elizabeth’s second time hiring me to photograph her. For our first session together we took professional headshots for her work profiles. She was one of my first clients to photograph since moving to Puerto Rico. For her to come back and choose me again to photograph this milestone means SO MUCH to me. Thank you Elizabeth for trusting me to photograph this milestone and CONGRATULATIONS on this accomplishment!

CONGRATS GIRL!
