Come and take a peek at Keith and Vanessa’s Old San Juan Silver Anniversary Session! Their session was bright, bold, colorful and full of love. We booked their session for sunrise, which is the best time to book a session in a busy place like Old San Juan. The light was PERFECT and it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. Keep reading to find out how we managed a sudden change of plans and what I loved most about my time with Keith and Vanessa.
Sometimes we have to pivot.
The day before the session I always reach out with the exact location of where to meet depending on if you have your own car, or plan to use uber. I have come to learn here in Puerto Rico, it’s not uncommon to have little hiccups with google maps and uber. Since I’ve learned this I always plan a little buffer time in all my sessions just in case google maps or uber take you to the wrong location. This is what happened with Keith and Vanessa, their uber dropped them off at a location in Old San Juan that was about a 10 minute walk from where we were to meet. NO WORRIES though, we had enough buffer time for me to walk to them and still photograph during that beautiful early morning light!
When I caught up with them we had to pivot on where we were going to photograph in Old San Juan. This wasn’t a problem because there’s beautiful locations all over Old San Juan. I was actually really excited to photograph where we ended up because this spot is usually FULL of people, but since we photographed early in the morning it felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. I’m honestly so glad it worked out this way because we got the most beautiful images that I can’t wait for you to see!
Keith & Vanessa
What I loved most about my time with Keith and Vanessa was seeing their strong youthful love at 25 years of marriage. There were times when I’d ask Keith to wrap his hands around Vanessa’s waist and his response was, “MMMhhhMM.” There were a couple times I caught them giggling and I asked them what they were saying. Their response was, “girl you don’t wanna know! Mmhm.” I couldn’t help but laugh with them and their cuteness. I LOVED their love for each other. Thank you Keith and Vanessa for allowing me to capture your beautiful love. It’s an honor to capture a love like yours.
