Golden Moments by the Ocean: Isla Verde Family Session

I’m excited to share with you the DeMartino’s family session at Isla Verde. Susan and Josh were celebrating their 4 year anniversary and booked a session. We were a little worried about the forecast because it predicted rain, but thankfully the forecast was wrong. Instead we were gifted with the bright golden sun. Fun fact about their session is Alex, my husband, joined me as my second shooter. What’s more, if I’m being honest, some of his images were my absolute favorites from their session. Something special I get to experience as a Puerto Rico Photographer…

One thing that is unique about being a photographer in Puerto Rico is that most of my clients aren’t from here. Most are on vacation. What I’ve noticed is that little ones that are visiting are experiencing certain things for the first time. Like the beach, the sand and the ocean salt water, is all new to them. I don’t have kids, but I think it’s beautiful and special to see them learn and experience new things. I’m not sure if it was something new to Jackson, but I loved seeing Jackson experience putting his toes in the sand by the water and being able to capture it. You’ll see this image below, it was actually taken by Alex and it’s definitely in my top five favorites from their family session. Thank you Susan and Josh for choosing me to capture the love of your sweet family. It was a pleasure to meet you and capture your love for each other.
