I think back to the very first wedding I ever photographed wonder, “how did I do it?” I had no system, no idea what it takes to photograph a wedding.

The Vence Family were visiting relatives on the island and decided to book a beach session while they were here. Photographing them was such a treat!! I’ll admit, when Lacy first told me the ages of cuties Eva and Thomas, I had a short moment of worry about getting “THEE shot”.

This question is one I never imagined asking myself when I first started taking pictures. I bought my first camera and lens kit right after graduating high school. With all my graduation gift money, I walked into Costco and purchased my Canon Rebel t3i bundle. I was so happy with it and I didn’t have the dream of being “a photographer” yet.
